Once you’ve decided on your preferred artist feel free to contact them using the contact information they’ve provided on the site. Please keep in mind that our artists tattoo in their style only if what you have in mind does not fit that style they may refer you to another artist or suggest changes to reflect their style.
We suggest looking through the artists portfolios to see whose style best fits the piece you are looking to get. How do I set up a consultation/appointment? You’re always welcome to call the shop and inquire about walk-in availability or wait times. Walk-in’s are done on a first come first serve basis. We do have a few artists that take walk-in’s if they are not booked out. Most of our artists work by appointment only. Some artists are cash only while others accept major credit cards. Please check with your artist before you arrive. Most of our artists work on an appointment only basis and we would hate to see you travel and not get tattooed. If you are coming from another city, state or country, please make plans in advance with the artist of your choice. There are no exceptions to this rule, sorry for any inconvenience. I’m excited I chose them over other well known shops and would be happy to return to them.Although the state of Utah allows minors to get tattooed, Painted Temple only tattoos people who are 18 and older. Plus, she’s really caring and kind through the process so she’ll take really good care of you to ensure it’s a smooth and positive experience. Piercings hurt and they’ll always hurt so I can’t say they’ll magically take that away but I can say that they make you comfortable enough that it’s bearable. Every step she communicated to me and there were no surprises. Like I said, I was extremely nervous about the pain ( I got a sensitive piercing) but Kenzi made sure I was comfortable, all my questions were answered, and she communicated with me very well. Finally, Kenzi was the one that pierced me. Which was really nice especially with COVID. Which by the way, they sanitize everything. She gave me a lot of information about the jewelry (which I highly appreciate) and explained the sanitization process. She knew I was nervous but shared words of wisdom and comforting advice. I went in today and Devon (sorry I never caught the spelling) was nice and welcoming. After a few days of speaking, I finally was brave enough and comfortable enough to book an appointment. To start, I spoke with Kandi over text a few days before I set up an appointment and she was extremely informative, kind, and overall gave me some great positive vibes. I just went in today for a piercing appointment with Kenzi and it was an incredible experience.
